Maldivian schedules three weekly flights to Bangladesh

Malé, Maldives — The nation airline of Maldives, Maldivian has announced that they have scheduled three weekly flights to Dhaka, Bangladesh.

According to Maldivian, the three weekly flights will be effective from October 01 onwards and will be operating regularly on every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday until further notice.

Furthermore, while the cost of a one-way ticket starts at USD 433, the baggage limit has been set at 30kg per passenger.

Meanwhile, the protocol presented by Maldivian due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic would be applied, which states that any passenger traveling to and from Dhaka would be required to have a Covid-19 negative test certificate done from an approved health center within 72 hours prior to flight departure. The airline also mentioned that the passenger must have the aforementioned certificate present during check-in as well.

While Maldivian also informed that the passengers are required to register 24 hours prior to departure and arrival, any individual interested in bookings or further inquiries are advised to contact an office of Maldives beforehand.

Maldives began to operate flights to the capital of Bangladesh on September and had then operated only two weekly flights to Dhaka. They were on Tuesdays and Fridays.
