Malé, Maldives – The national airline Maldivian has decided to arrange special flights to the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka targeting the coming Al’ha eid.

Maldivian stated that the special trips to Dhaka have been scheduled for the 21st and 22nd of this month.

Speaking to local media outlet “Sun”, Moosa Waseem from the Public Relations and Communications of Maldivian, said that there is a high demand for flights to Bangladesh following the eases in travel restrictions.

In addition to this, Moosa Waseem noted that locals and foreigners can now travel to and from Bangladesh as it has been allowed by HPA. HPA recently allowed for work permit holders from the South Asian region to travel to Maldives.

Such travellers are required to present a negative PCR test prior to departure and are required to complete the mandatory quarantine.
