Fenfushi, Maldives – Police has discovered drugs weighing over 1 kilogram in Fenfushi, located in Alif Dhaalu atoll.
Police said that the drug raid was carried out in the island in association with Mahibadhoo Police station, Maamiginli Police station and Fenfushi police, in addition to the Police Intelligence department after information was received about drugs being stored and smuggled in Fenfushi.

As part of the operation, the police raided and searched a densely forested area in Fenfushi and discovered a plastic bag containing a substance that is suspected to be drugs. The police revealed that the bag and its contents had an approximate mass of 1kg and 20 grams.
It was further revealed that the drugs which were confiscated today have a connection with the 0.5 kg of the drug, Crystal Meth seized in a raid carried out on October 8th in the island. The case is being further investigated by the police.
