Male’, Maldives – Ooredoo customers using m-Faisaa can now make payments to Maldives Island Revenue Authority (MIRA) using the m-Faisaa service, says Ooredoo.
On November 1st, Ooredoo signed an agreement with MIRA to enable their customers to make online transactions via their digital payment method, m-Faisaa, which is a secure mobile wallet allowing users to make day-to-day transactions through their mobile phones, making it easy for the user to instantly send their payments from anywhere at any time.
While m-Faisaa is specialized for all payments expect tax, the partnership with MIRA will now allow the users to pay for their vehicles, sea vessels, company fees, violation charges and zakat-al-mal through m-Faisaa on ‘VaaruPay’ app, which is the mobile application used by MIRA.
To pay MIRA via m-Faisaa, the users are required to follow these steps:
- Download VaaruPay on App Store or Play Store or visit VaaruPay on MIRA website
- Select the type of fees to pay
- Fill in the details
- Select the payment and continue to pay
- Select the payment method as m-Faisaa
- Enter m-Faisaa number and click pay
- Enter OTP and confirm

Both VaaruPay app of MIRA and m-Faisaa app are available to download for free on both on the App Store and Play Store.
