Addu City, Maldives – Addu City Council has announced that 28 flats are up for sale in the most populous district of Addu, Hithadhoo.
The Addu City Council has decided to open for applications for the remaining 28 flats in the categories A,B and C out of the 264 flats constructed in Hithadhoo through the government’s housing project.
According to the council, they have decided to give out 16 flats from Category A to those who are from Hithadhoo, 06 flats from Category B for the citizens in Maradhoo or Maradhoofeydhoo who wishes to change to Hithadhoo and 06 flats from Category C to the citizens in Feydhoo who are willing to purchase these flats in Hithadhoo.
If anyone is interested in purchasing a flat, the city council has requested them to fill out the necessary form and submit it to the city council before 1330 hours of 26th November. They also informed to submit the necessary documents along with the form.
The forms will be available for the citizens of Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoofeydhoo and Feydhoo in their respective island offices. While everyone is required to submit their forms to their island office, the council stated that the forms will be issued everyday -except public holidays- between 0900-1330 hours.
