Male’, Maldives – The Japanese-inspired lifestyle product retailer, Miniso brand has opened their second outlet in the capital Male’ City of Maldives.
On November 25, Miniso Maldives opened their second outlet in Gakoshi Male’ Square. The new Miniso shop offers a wide range of lifestyle and healthcare products from cosmetics and toiletries to everyday household items similarly as their other outlets.
To celebrate the opening of their second store in Male’ city, Miniso employees gave away giftpacks at the Gakoshi Male’ Square yesterday.
In addition to this, Miniso also opened two other outlets in Maldives. A permanent outlet in Hulhumale’ and a temporary pop-up store in Male’ city.
While the first outlet of Miniso in Male’ was opened on July 12 this year, it only operated until the end of October. It was located in Ameenee Magu in the opposite corner of Kalaafaanu School. This outlet offered a variety of products including:

- Cosmetics
- Electronic and Electrical Appliances
- Life Department ( Kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, Fabric organizers)
- Makeup Tools
- Scented Tools
- Skincare and Cleansing Products
- Stationery and Gifts
- Textile

Miniso is a Japan-based designer brand, co-founded by Japanese designer Mr. Miyake Junya & Chinese young entrepreneur Mr. Ye Guofu in Tokyo, Japan, with the former serving as chief designer.
Miniso mainly focuses on supplying products that goes with the aesthetic lifestyles. The brand highly sticks to the life philosophy of “simplicity, nature and good quality.”
