Male’, Maldives – Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC) has confirmed that an additional Covid-19 related death in the country.
It has been revealed that the individual who passed away due to the coronavirus was a 75 year old local, who was receiving treatment at the Hulhumale’ Medical Facility. With this, the number of deaths in the country due to Covid-19 has reached 47.
As per the latest statistics by Health Protection Agency (HPA), the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the country has surpassed 13,000, with a total of 13,011 cases as of 18:00 on 30th November.
However, there are currently only 1019 active cases, with 95 seeking treatment at the hospitals. An impressibe 11,939 patients have made a full recovery since.
