Addu City, Maldives – Vice President of Maldives, Faisal Naseem requests all relevant authorities to find a solution for the issues that are being faced by students of the Asian Academy of Aeronautics (AAA), commonly referred to as the Addu Flying school in Addu City, as soon as possible
VP Faisal stated this during a meeting that was held to discuss about the recent issues raised against the flying school. The meeting was attended by all the relevant authorities including the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan and Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Aishath Nahula.
During the meeting, VP Faisal stressed on finding a permanent solution for the issues that are currently being faced by the local students who spent thousands to go to AAA in hopes of becoming pilots.
While speaking at the meeting, VP Faisal explained that there are several students in the flying school who are required to spend further more years in the academy to finish their course. VP Faisal said that several concerns has been raised regarding this and the fact that these students will have to spend even more money than they already have to complete their education.
Due to this, VP Faizal requested all relevant authorities in the meeting to find a permanent solution as soon as possible for the issues that are being faced by these students. He also requested the authorities to find a way for the students to finish their courses without having to spend extra time or money on it.
VP Faisal noted that the government specifically focuses on providing higher education and making potential youngsters in the country. This is why, he told the authorities to think of the flying school issue as one of the most important issues that needs to be solved at the fastest rate.
