Malé, Maldives – The People’s Majlis is now on TikTok. The Speaker of Parliament President Mohamed Nasheed applauded this decision stating that it will help reach new audiences and create awareness of what the parliament is doing among young Maldivians.

TikTok is a social network for sharing user-generated videos, where users can create and upload their own videos where they lip-synch, sing, dance, or just talk. It it highly popular among Maldivians with people creating and sharing content across the platform.
