Male’, Maldives – Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced on Twitter tonight, that the Agency has launched an official Telegram channel to provide the public with the latest updates regarding the Covid-19 situation and vaccination efforts in the country.
The channel, which has been verified by Telegram, is updated with all the latest Covid-19 related updates, including that of daily case updates, venue and timings of sample collection centers, and any other announcements that may be made by the relevant authorities.
Health Protection Agency, and the Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC), have been actively dissemination information related to the Covid-19 pandemic to the public via multiple platforms and sources, including mainstream media as well as social media outlets.
Currently, more than 15,000 individuals have tested positive for the virus, out of which, 14,064 have recovered and 51 have unfortunately passed away, in the Maldives.
