Addu City, Maldives — The UIM Aquabike World Championship and the Addu City Council held a meeting with to host the “UIM Aquabike World Championship 2022” event in Addu city.
The guesthouse operators of Addu, the City Council members and UIM Aquabike World Championship members joined this meeting held at the secretariat of the Addu city council.
Addu City is an ideal destination to host the UIM Aquabike World Championship.
Event Organizers
They stated that the event could be successfully conducted at Addu as the city is already well equipped with necessary resources and facilities to organize such an event.
The meeting was held to provide information regarding necessary requirements and standards of the event to guesthouse operators.
The event organizers stated that a potential growth in economic and tourism sector of the region is expected consequently as a result of the event.
The visit to Addu city, by the event organizers was initiated by Ministry of Tourism, as part of the campaign towards the celebration of the year 2022; the year of the Golden Jubilee of the tourism industry of Maldives.
While “UIM Aquabike world championship 2020″ was held at Kuwait, the “UIM Aquabike world championship 2022” is preparing to be held in Addu City in association with Ministry of Tourism, MMPRC, Powerboat Association of Maldives and UIM Aquabike.
