GA. Maamendhoo, Maldives – Two of the people apprehended on 8 February 2021 in relation to the violent murder of GA. Maamendhoo teenager have been given court orders for fifteen and ten days respectively.
Five have been arrested to date due to the murder case.
The teenagers body have been transferred to Malé and the authorities are making arrangement for transport abroad to conduct a postmortem.
Two Maldivian males aged 25 and 18 were arrested last night in relation to the murder.
The second injured victim in the gang violence is being treated at the hospital and reported to be recovering.
