Addu City, Maldives — An additional Covid-19 case has been recorded from the Hulhumeedhoo Cluster.
Sources inform that the newly confirmed individual is also an expatriate worker who was in quarantine at the MTCC site. The expat was tested for Covid-19 as he was symptomatic for the virus of which the test results returned positive for Covid-19.
Along with this individual, a total of 26 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 due to the Hulhumeedhoo Cluster that began from the MTCC site.
There are currently two clusters of Covid-19 in Addu City – the Aviation cluster and the other Hulhumeedhoo at the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) site.
