Addu City, Maldives – Addu Emergency Operations Center (AEOC) has reported that a total of 29 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Addu until today.

AEOC revealed the information, detailing that the recoveries include positive cases from Feydhoo and Hithadhoo. Out of the 29 recoveries, 24 recoveries are from Hulhudhoo, while five are from the rest of the adjoined districts.

The four active cases from Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo include the two new cases which were recorded on Saturday, – one via random sampling and the other after consulting with symptoms – initiating contact tracing efforts to control further spread.

While this is so, Addu City still remains under monitoring status, barring any unauthorized travel to and from the city, along with the implementation of a curfew which lasts from 20:00 to 04:00 everyday.
