Malé, Maldives – Maldives Police Service (MPS) has revealed that a police officer has been arrested over possession of alcohol.
After an operation by the Drug Enforcement Department (DED) earlier tonight, the police officer was arrested with a bottle of alcohol.
While no additional information has been given out, MPS stated that they are currently investigating the matter.
