Thaa Atoll, Maldives — Maldives Police Service has informed that locals have found two bags full of drugs from an uninhabited island named “Th. Filholhu.”
The Police received information of locals finding two bags full of items which are suspected to be drugs at approximately 19:00 last night. According to the Police, they received reports that some locals who were at an uninhabited island named Th. Finolhu found two bags full of items from the shore of the island.
[We have] taken the items under custody and are currently investigating the matter.

While Police noted that the items in the two bags are suspected to be drugs, they refrained from revealing details about the drugs including the amount or type of drugs found.
