MNDF firefighters are on the scene of a fire on a boat docked at Thilafushi boatyard.
Thilafushi is an industrial area located near Malé.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said that the fire was reported at 14:07 today. MNDF official said that the fire was caused by some welding work done to the metal boat.
MNDF reports that the fire is now controlled by the MNDF fire station. The defence force has not released any further information.
