Male’, Maldives —Complaints Bureaus established in all atolls of Maldives for the upcoming Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committee elections to be held on April 10.
The Vice President of the Elections Commission (EC), Ismail Habeeb spoke regarding the Complaints Bureau established in atolls and stated that it will be much easier to find solutions for the problems that arise relating to the elections as the bureaus are now established in the atolls of Maldives.
Habeeb advised the citizens that if there is an issue regarding the election, it should be presented to the bureau present in that specific atoll, and if the atoll bureau is unable to find a solution for the issue, then that complaint can be presented to the national complaints bureau in the capital Male’ city.
Habeeb stated that all complaints will be presented to the complaint bureau through the form specialized for the matter.
While the elections is set to proceed on 10th of this month, the Elections Commission announced that they will be sending out the vote ballots this upcoming week to all the atolls.
