Addu City, Maldives – Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC) has revealed that there are a total of 12 active cases of Covid-19 in Addu City at present.
As per the latest figures released by HEOC, there are seven cases of the coronavirus in Gan, followed by four cases in Hithadhoo, and one case in Hulhudhoo.
So far, all active cases in the city have been linked to travel related quarantines, and hence, have not resulted in any direct contacts or local transmissions as of yet.
With this, there are currently a total of 844 active cases of Covid-19 with in the atolls of Maldives, in inhabited islands of the country.
As of now, 24,379 cases of Covid-19 has been recored in the Maldives, out of which, 21,282 patients have made full recoveries. Unfortunately, 67 deaths have been recorded in the country due to Covid-19 so far.
