BREAKING: Maldives records 73rd Covid-19 death

Malé, Maldives – The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has informed that a 50 year old Indian male, admitted at DH11 had passed away at 20:44 due to Covid-19.

With the passing away of the 50 year old male marking the second Covid-19 death of the day, the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country has risen to 73. 

Since the country recorded its first case of Covid-19, Maldives has reported 73 deaths in connection to Covid-19. The deceased are 65 Maldivian nationals, 6 Bangladeshi nationals, a Filipino national and an Indian

HPA had earlier revealed that the total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in the country has reached 29,052 out of which 24,575 patients have made full recoveries, as of 18:00 of April 28, 2021.
