AA. Atoll, Maldives – Total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the island of Mathiveri, AA. Atoll has risen to 171.
The daily Covid-19 cases recorded today is at 46 while the first case was recorded on 21 April 2021.
According to Mathiveri Health Center, 130 of the 150 samples taken from the island on April 22, of which 63 people tested positive for the virus.
According to Health Protection Agency (HPA), 386 cases new cases were recorded yesterday. 105 were from the Malé area, while 198 cases were recorded from inhabited islands. The figures also included the 06 new found cases from operational resorts and 77 case from industrial islands which brought up the total active cases in the country to 4,009.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in the country has reached 28,588 out of which 24,499 patients have made full recoveries
