Covid-19: 3 new cases in Addu City!

Addu City, Maldives – Additional three people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Addu City.

The three new cases include one from Hithadhoo and two from Hulhumeedhoo. With this, the total number of positive cases in Addu City add up to 37.

With newly found Covid-19 cases, it has been decided to impose night curfew for a week, starting tonight. Curfew starts from 21:00 and ends at 04:00.

While restaurants and hotels cannot give their services in the times of curfew, delivery and takeaway services are to start again. A group of more than three people are not allowed to gather on the roads.

Furthermore, tharaavees prayers are to end at 8:50pm starting tonight, as the prayer normally ends after curfew time. As midnight prayers are within the curfew time, it is advised that people attend the prayers by walking.
