Malé, Maldives — Israel has bombed and destroyed the “Maldive Gaza Restaurant and Cafe” built August 2020 in Gaza city of Palestine.

The co-owner of Maldive Gaza Café, Emad Al-Bayya stated that the restaurant was built to allow everyone to experience the Maldivian culture in Gaza as Maldives is a famous country among the citizens of Gaza as well.

The people of Gaza can’t go to the Maldives, so we said to ourselves: Why don’t we bring the Maldives to them? For us to also enjoy the experience one feels in the beaches of Maldives.

Media outlets inform that the three story building has been completely destroyed by the Israeli bombs and three people were injured during the attack.

As Israel commenced their attack on Palestine, injuring, torturing and killing thousands, it has been decided to hold a special protest in Maldives, to show that Maldivians will always stand with Palestine.

The youth of Maldives enraged, have decided to hold an awareness activity on 18 May, Tuesday evening at 16:00 by staying in their homes. The purpose of this activity is to hold the Palestine flag and wave it with pride in balconies and outside the front doors, to show the world that Maldives stands with Palestine.

The latest Israeli brutal attacks and bombing on Palestine have killed about 140 Palestinians out of which 39 are children. 950 other Palestinians have also been deeply injured.Hamas, which controls Gaza has been defending itself by attacking Israel with little difference.

Just recently Israel had bombed the Gaza tower housing Al Jazeera, AP and international media offices which was met with horror and disbelief by audiences.

Al Jazeera condemned the the bombing and destruction of its offices by the Israeli military in Gaza in the strongest terms. The news agency said that it views this as a clear act to stop journalists from conducting their sacred duty to inform the world and report events on the ground. Al Jazeera promised to pursue every available route to hold the Israeli government responsible for its actions.
