Malé, Maldives —A fire has broken out in a speedboat that was on an excursion trip from AA. Mathiveri, leaving two tourists injured and the boat captain injured.
The councilor of Mathiveri, Hussain Nihan informed local media outlet “Sun” that only three people had sustained injuried from the fire that broke out in the boat. They are the boat captain and two tourists on board.
I was informed that the fire spread after the speedboat’s fuel tank caught fire.

Nihan informed that the speedboat is now at AA. Ukulhas and that the boat captain and two tourists who sustained burns in their hands and legs are recieving treatment at the health centers and that they are in stable condition.
