Male’, Maldives – Minister of Tourism Dr Mausoon Abdulla requested Male’ City Council to make arrangements to meet the basic necessities for tourists.
Announcing his request via Twitter, the minister stressed that he was not calling out, but was simply requesting from the council.
He urged the council to provide modern restroom facilities and a sheltered area so tourists may seek shelter from rain.
In addition to this, Minister Mausoon highlighted that along with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) arrangements were already underway for a jetty, that would be designated for tourists who come from vessels such as yachts.
