B. Atoll, Maldives – A man has died today by drowning in B. Fulhadhoo.
Local news “the Press” reports citing Fulhadhoo Council President Ali Azhar that the drowning victim is a 36 year old man. The man died trying to save two children drifting into the sea current.
The victim saved one child and drowned while attempting to save the other. The 36 year old had passed away by the time he was taken to the health center.
