Kulhudhufushi, Maldives – Kulhudhufushi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, said that there is a high chance of a community spread in the island, following the additional positive cases from the area.
The hospital informs that 4 samples collected from the Flu OPD tested positive for Covid-19 and that the total number of Covid-19 cases in the island has risen to 14 with the three additional cases from home quarantine.
The hospital advises locals to consult the flu clinic and have their sample collected immediately or call 7606688, if they are having any symptoms of Covid-19.
Kulhudhufushi was placed under monitoring last Saturday, following a symptomatic 13-year old testing positive for Covid-19 after consulting the flu clinic. The island has now implemented a curfew from 21:00 to 04:00.
