Maradhoo Health Center opens for online consultations amid escalating Covid-19 cases

Addu City, Maldives – Maradhoo Health Center informs that online consultations will be available at at the health center from today onwards.

Maradhoo Health Center informed that they will be beginning online consultations from today onwards, however, will be unable to provide nursing services as a large amount of nurses are in quarantine.

Noting the the doctor will be available for online consultations everyday from 09:00 till 15:00 (except on Friday), Maradhoo Health Center advised the interest parties to call the center’s phone number, 960 6890608, to make an appointment with the doctor.

Maradhoo Health Center temporarily halted their services for three days, after a patient admitted at the health center tested positive for Covid-19. Since then, several staff have been placed under home quarantine.

Three new cases were recorded in Addu City according to the most recent statistics. Maradhoo has the highest number of cases with 21 active Covid-19 positive patients, while Hithadhoo has 3 cases and Feydhoo has only 1 active case. The new case in Feydhoo was recorded yesterday. Of 567 cases recorded in Addu City, 540 have fully recovered.
