Male’, Maldives – Maldives Police Service, last night arrested a Maldivian for stealing goods worth approximately 1 million using fake bank slips.
Media Official of Police informs that an operation was held last night, where Police found the goods that were stolen from three shops using fake bank slips. The goods included of foods, hardware products and even current wires.
Police has so far arrested a 47 year old Maldivian man over accusation of stealing these goods. Media Official stated that he has been remanded for 15 days.
While the goods that were found are being identified and handed to the respective owners, the Media Official revealed that further investigations are being carried out on the case.
