Hithadhoo Community Centre temporarily closes doors

Malé, Maldives – Hithadhoo Community Centre, on Tuesday, was temporarily closed after one staff member tested positive for Covid19.

The Community Centre has announced a brief closure, for a period of 14 days, to resolve the situation.

According to the Centre, the hiatus begins on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

At present, Maldives’ Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Addu City under monitoring, following a rapid increase in the spread of Covid19.

One patient is currently hospitalised and receiving treatment for the illness at the regional hospital.
