Malé, Maldives – Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) today informed that a Maldivian cadet training at National Defence Academy in India has passed away.
The deceased is reported to be Private Mohamed Sultan Ibrahim (22).
The Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal shared his condolences with the family and stated that Private Sultan was a committed soldier with a promising future.
MNDF adds that the body of the soldier is being transported to Maldives.
