Malé, Maldives – Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has transported the body of the mother who passed away yesterday due to a sea accident to the capital city Malé this morning at 07:30.
Search and Rescue services continue the search for the 4 year old son.

The mother and son were throw overboard when a rough tide hit the launch they were travelling in.
The victim has been identified as Mariyam Naahidha (33), M. Green Peak, Malé.
MNDF has requested the help of the public in their search for the missing 4 year old. Vessels passing the accident site region and neighboring islands are to be on the lookout for any signs of the child. MNDF requests to call 191, 3395981 or 3398898 with any information.
