Addu City, Maldives – The Maldivian Aviation Academy established in Addu City under a joint venture between Island Aviation (IAS) and Maldives National University (MNU) announced course fees for integrated, modular and individual pilot training programs.
The school announced integrated programs which range between 18 to 24 months and self paced modular programs.
The academy has detailed the module fees, with the integrated program at MVR 894,468 while the modular program has a higher cost of MVR 919,433.
In addition, the flying school also offers solo lessons for those who want to hire an aircraft with separate costs for the school ground (MVR 154,200) planes and instructors.
Maldives Aviation Academy has previously pledged to prioritize the students left in limbo by the now defunct Asian Academy of Aeronautics (AAA).
Classes began in January 2022 with a refresher program for former AAA students.
The academy will train personnel for various fields in aviation in addition to pilot training programs.
