Addu City, Maldives – BTEK has launched the “BTEK Poultry Farm” in Addu City on Tuesday, the first of its kind in the Maldives.

BTEK sells imported live and slaughtered chickens for MVR 65 per kilogram at the local market from 07:00 to 17:30.

The business has met unprecedented demand from consumers in the connected islands of Addu City and small businesses demanding large stocks for purchase.

We have limited poultry stock. The demand is higher than we forecasted. This is a good sign for the Maldives poultry farming.

Hussain Mohamed, Managing Director, BTEK

BTEK MD Mohamed stated that the company has already started processing the second batch and expects to expand the business to the entire Addu City.

The poultry farm is not supplying to the rest of Maldives at present.
