Connectivity increases for tourism via Gan

Addu City, Maldives – Connectivity for tourists to arrive in Gan International Airport (GIA) is increasing, says Ace Maldives, the General Service Agent (GSA) for Srilankan Airlines in the country.

Managing Director of Ace Maldives Mohamed Firaq said that combined efforts will lead to success and that the newly scheduled domestic flights of Manta Air to Gan has increased connectivity for tourists arriving from Italy, UK, Spain, Germany and Dubai.

As such, with the UL flight with connectivity to Huvadhoo atoll via Manta Air took place today, which Firaq described as a “remarkable day”. With increased connectivity, Srilankan Airlines is also expected to increase its flight frequency to Gan to two flights a week starting 29th March.

The agreement to schedule domestic connectivity was signed between Srilankan Airlines and Manta was signed on the 23rd of February.
