Addu City, Maldives – It has been revealed that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be attending the inauguration ceremony of the police academy being developed in Addu City.
As per current plans, the academy is set to open on 27th of this month.
Reports suggest that the President will also be travelling to Fuvahmulah during this trip. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the President’s Office. This would be President Solih’s first trip to Addu City since 2019.
Earlier this year, however, President Solih traveled to various atolls of the country including Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani, Raa and Thaa, to mark the conclusion of projects and inauguration of new projects – a series of trips which got cut short due to medical reasons which saw the President undergo surgery in Singapore.
