Addu City, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, during his official visit to Addu City, has visited the Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) today.
Accompanied by First Lady Fazna Ahmed, President Solih visited the hospital and met with the employees and management of the hospital. The first couple was welcomed by the CEO of the hospital Dr. Mohamed Solih.
During his visit, President Solih clarified the ongoing daily work of the hospital, where the management of AEH detailed the developments in services provided to the public since moving the new tertiary hospital, as well as the difficulties currently being faced.
AEH began its operations on 15th January 2020, after moving to the new building from the old Hithadhoo Regional Hospital (HRH) building. AEH is the first tertiary hospital opened out of the central Malé region.
