Saudi Arabia – Official from Musafireen Umrah Services on Wednesday confirmed that the deceased Maldivian Umrah pilgrim Abu Bakr Hassan’s funeral prayers will be held at Masjid al-Haram with Fajr prayer on Thursday.
The deceased will also be buried in Saudi Arabia following the dawn prayer.
Abu Bakr Hassan (76), Bageechage, B. Eydhafushi passed away in the early hours of Wednesday in the hotel lobby while being transported to the hospital following chest pains. Hassan has a prior history of high blood pressure and heart disease.
The deceased arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday with Musafireen Umrah Services fulfilling his wish to complete Umrah with his entire family.
Hassan is survived by his wife, seven sons and a daughter.
