Malé, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday announced a salary increase for all civil service staff in the education sector with 8,889 staff members.
President Solih stated this in an ongoing public address on the occasion of International Labour Day.
Giving a sufficient salary to the “educators of children who will build the nation” is a presidential pledge.
