Malé, Maldives – The Maldives Police Service on Tuesday arrested a man who entered Jamaluddin School, located in the capital city Malé, with the intent to cause physical harm earlier today.
The 37-year-old Maldivian man has now been remanded to 15 days in custody for the crime. Initial reports suggest that the man has a prior criminal record.
Police received a report at 08:49 this morning of an individual posing a physical threat at the school.
