Addu City, Maldives – A seal has entered Addu City Hithadhoo Kanbiha Beach amid stormy monsoon weather on Sunday.
This is the second time a member of the pinniped has entered one of the Addu atoll lagoons. This rare visitor is gaining much attention from the public and has earned police security in the area.

The 8-foot beached seal was found by some visitors earlier today. Authorities are attempting to return the seal to the ocean.
Seals are not native to the Maldives and this visitor is observed to have lost its way.
