Huvadhoo Atoll, Maldives – Forecasting heavy rain and rough weather, Maldives Meteorological Center (MET Office) has issued a yellow alert for Huvadhoo Atoll.
The alert, which covers both Gaafu Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu atoll from 01:30 am to 4:30 pm of today, comes with expected heavy rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds going up to as high as 45 miles per hour.
During this time, sea travellers are encouraged to exercise caution and ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
Currently Maldives is experiencing bad weather across different parts of the country.
