Malé, Maldives – MDP President and Parliament Speaker Mohammed Nasheed‘s campaign team has announced that his campaign launch rally for Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) primary for the upcoming presidential election will be held tomorrow.
Nasheed’s campaign launch will be held at 8:30 pm tomorrow at Sultan Park. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions to Speaker Nasheed.
After holding a campaign rally tomorrow night, Nasheed will start a trip to the northers atolls on Thursday, his campaign team said.
While the deadline for submitting nominations for the MDP presidential primary expired on Saturday, Speaker Nasheed and President Solih were the only two to have submitted their candidacy.
