Opposition PPM/PNC leader Former President Abdullah Yameen’s mother Fathima Hassan has passed away.
Fathima Hassan died in Sri Lanka while undergoing treatment for poor health. She was 86 years old when she died.
Fathima Hassan, passed away while former President Yameen is serving an 11-year prison sentence in connection with the MMPRC corruption.
Maldives Corrections has not yet announced whether he will attend the funeral.
