Leo Messi and Co eased a home win against Real Valladolid in the Spanish League last night.
Ernesto Valverde’s team scored 5 against the 9th placed Valladolid where they equalized after Celement Lenglet’s opener in the second minute of the game. Kiko scored on the 15th minute to cancel out the early lead which turned out to be their only goal of the match.
However, Arturo Vidal regained the lead for Barca after scoring in the 29th minute. Messi scored his first of the game five minutes after Vidal. Barca ended the first half with an easy 3-1 lead.
Messi again scored a goal in the 75th minute of the game whereas Luis Suarez scored the team’s fifth and final just two minutes after.
Barca remain on top of the table after the fifth consecutive league win. At the moment, Granada stays below Barca on the second spot earning two points less than the leaders with 20 points from ten games.
Atletico Madrid struck out again after earning another draw. This is the third consecutive draw they faced while Real Madrid could easily go to second if they win their match against Leganes tonight.
