In light of the recently declared pandemic Covid-19, a flu clinic has been established in Addu.
Patients will be able to consult everyday start from 8:00 in the morning until noon and then again from 14:00 to 18:00. Consultations will also continue during the night from 19:00 to 22:30.
The hospital urges any one with flu like symptoms to consults the clinic which is located in the former Public Health unit of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital. It is also advised to call prior to visiting the clinic if patients are symptomatic following a travel history.
So far, Maldives has reported 3 recoveries from the coronavirus that has claimed tens of thousands of lives world wide, as 10 more patients still remain in recovery.
