Maldives Blood Services (MBS) has requested for more blood donations, specially O positive and B positive blood.
In a tweet sent out by MBS, the agency said that their blood reserves have decreased drastically and requested for more donations. All donors are advised to come in for donations from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays.
With many resorts being on lock down amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the vast majority of blood donors are still stuck in resorts.
