Male’, Maldives – Aminath Ameena of L. Kunahandhoo has been appointed as the newest member of Broadcasting Commission of Maldives, by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih today.
The appointment ceremony took place this morning at the President’s Office.
Ameena attained her first degree in Journalism from Maldives National University and completed her Masters Degree in Journalism and Media Communications from the Islamic University of Maldives.
Ameena previously worked as a senior editor at V Media for 13 years and has completed many trainings in the field. She is also a two-time recipient of the best journalist award by Maldives Media Council.
