NBAM advices against disembarking from safaris onto islands

Male’, Maldives – National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) has advised against any crew or tourist of a safari docked in the Maldives, from disembarking onto the islands.

NBAM also advised any individuals from the islands to go on the safaris, with the exception of individuals with approvals which may be personnel such as electricians, engineers or health care workers.

NBAM also informed all tourists that testing facilities have been arranged for those who wish to leave the Maldives, at Hulhumale’. However, it is important to book ahead in order to avoid missing out on a spot waiting for the last minute.

Maldives opened up its borders for international travelers and tourists on 15th of July, kickstarting the Maldivian tourism industry, which had been put to a complete stop for months.
