Kulhudhuffushi, Maldives – Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital has announced that all the random samples collected from the island have come back negative.
The hospital reported that all 72 samples collected from the island has tested negative, however, advised the islanders to remain cautious and take all precautionary measures against the virus.
The random sampling was conducted in the island following a patient who was transferred to Male’ from Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, testing positive for Covid-19. The island was placed on monitoring status following the case, but has now been returned to its previous status.
At present, there are 40 islands with active cases of Covid-19 in the Maldives.
